O’Connell has served as mayor for three years, working with his cabinet and City Council to ensure they provide services to city residents on a daily basis.
“Treat people with respect and if we do disagree, do it with respect and civility,” he said.
He enjoys sporting events and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
“Family is the most important thing in my life,” he said.
