J-Van Body Inc., a minority-owned business in Reading, was approved for a $195,000 loan from the Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Authority to produce specialty vans for people with disabilities.

The money will help finance the purchase of equipment and working capital, according to a release.
J-Van Body will be making the Mobile Personal Care Vehicle, a van that provides critical services to people with disabilities. The MPCVs will be given to Momentum Innovative Disability Services.
Through this project, the company will retain two full-time jobs and add three more within three years.
Formed in 2016, J-Van Body specializes in the manufacturing of modern truck van bodies.
David Justiano, president of the company, said in the release, “I would like to thank (the Department of Community & Economic Development) for the (Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Authority) loan program to help us at J-Van Body expand our operation to support the manufacturing of customized truck vehicles and specialty vehicles like the Mobile Personal Care Vehicle.”
“They have helped to give us the ability to bring life-changing solutions to people … .”
