Lehigh Valley, PA, March 15, 2010 – Team Capital Bank announced today that Robert A. Rupel has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer for the Bank. In this role, Rupel will oversee all of the lending and credit functions of the Bank.rnrnRupel served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Lafayette Ambassador Bank until December 2009 when he announced his retirement. He also served as a Chairman of Lafayette Ambassador Bank. Mr. Rupel joined Lafayette Ambassador Bank in 1999. He has 38 years of banking experience at a variety of banks in Pennsylvania, having begun his career as a management trainee in 1970. rnrn“Bob has great expertise in the community banking industry and we’re pleased to have someone with his talents augment our staff,” said James F. He has also served on a variety of local boards, including the Minsi Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America, Northampton Community College Foundation, Communities in Schools of the Lehigh Valley, Kutztown University Foundation, Valley Youth House of the Lehigh Valley, State Theatre Center for the Arts and the Lehigh Valley March of Dimes. In 2009 he received the recognition of Boy Scouts of American Citizen of the Year from the Minsi Trails Council. He is a graduate of Kent State University, and is a Certified Lending Professional. rn
