The new Crab Du Jour restaurant will be on Grape Street in Whitehall. SUBMITTED –

The Lehigh Valley is getting a new seafood chain restaurant.

Crab Du Jour, a rapidly expanding Cajun-style seafood chain, will be opening at 1053 Grape Street in Whitehall.

It will be on a corridor with a number of other national chains such as Longhorn Steakhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, Red Lobster and the Olive Garden.

The restaurant hopes to be open in early 2021 or sooner, pending any restrictions from the state over COVID-19.

Crab Du Jour’s menu features crab, crawfish, calamari, and lobster dishes. Its signature dish is called the Cajun Style low country boil. There will also be a full bar.

Non-seafood options include chicken fingers and Buffalo wings.

Seth Lacey of Colliers International’s Allentown office brokered the deal for the landlord. Crab DuJour was represented by Lip Fei Jiang with Chibeca Real Estate.

All Crab Du Jour locations are independently owned franchises.
