Reading Area Community College
President of RACC since July 2018, Looney has been responsible for bringing leadership, oversight and supervision to all areas of the college in an “effective and efficient manner.”
I am committed to serving our students and our community, working to foster pride in the institution. The hallmarks of Reading Area Community College are access, opportunity, excellence and hope. We are the “community’s college.” I am very proud that the institution was one of 30 Bellwether finalists across the country this year among community colleges.
My most important life lesson is understanding and appreciating the value of a strong support system. Whether it is a strong family system at home, or a strong team at work, a support system is essential to success.
I enjoy working out, playing golf and spending time with friends and family.
