Governor Tom Wolf announced Monday that Pennsylvania has been awarded nearly $268 million in American Rescue Plan funding, through the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI), to spur small business success and job creation opportunities across the state. 

The Moravian Historical Society (MHS), Nazareth, has been awarded a $75,000 grant from the American Historical Association’s Grants to Sustain and Advance the Work of Historical Organizations Program. 

The Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority (LANTA) will receive $12,544,967 in new funding from the American Rescue Plan.

Northampton County is accepting applications for $4 million in American Rescue Plan grants it has remaining for small businesses.

Now, Vic Neumann is planning what he’ll do with a $15,000 grant he just received via the American Rescue Plan. He is the latest business to benefit from the bailout money in Northampton County. The check was delivered in person by Lamont McClure, county executive, and representatives of the Department of Community and Economic Development. 

Lamont McClure and the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) announce that, in the first five rounds of Small Business Grants from American Rescue Plan funds, Northampton County has distributed about $7,860,375 across 35 municipalities.
