A new online portal to identify the needs of Pennsylvania manufacturers that are, or could, provide products for the COVID-19 pandemic was launched over the weekend by the state Department of Community and Economic Development.

State officials this week announced 42 strategic guidelines for building the commonwealth’s workforce to compete on a nationwide and global scale in the new decade.

More than $5 million in state funding will go to dozens of community revitalization projects across Pennsylvania to upgrade business facades, build accessible housing and make infrastructure improvements, the Wolf administration announced.
