Discount retailer Big Lots is opening a warehouse and distribution facility in the newly built Bethel Industrial Center in Bethel.

The building was constructed by J.G. Petrucci Co. Inc. in a joint venture with real estate investment management firm, DWS. The two joined to develop a 587,100-square-foot distribution facility directly off Interstate 78.

Situated on 45 Acres, the LEED Certified facility features 40-foot clear height, 108 dock doors and LED lighting.

The facility will help Big Lots accommodate its growing demand in the eCommerce space.

In need of more space, Big Lots looked to Eastern Pennsylvania for a large industrial solution.

After issuing a proposal on behalf of the tenant, JLL brokers, Mike McCreary, Larry Maister, Ryan Barros and Matt Powers worked with J.G. Petrucci and JLL Broker Jeff Lockard to locate the appropriate site for Big Lots next home and selected this facility to lease.

An international aftermarket alloy wheel company is opening up a distribution center in the Lehigh Valley.

TSW Alloy Wheels is moving into a 105,840-square-foot warehouse built by J.G. Petrucci Co. Inc. at 4650 Braden Boulevard East in Easton. TSW will occupy approximately 60,000 square feet of the building.

The Southern California-based TSW was founded in the 1960’s by a former Formula One racing driver, Eddie Keizan.

Before this latest acquisition TSW had eight distribution centers across the country. It is one of the nation’s oldest manufacturers of high-performance alloy wheels.

Terence Scheckter, CEO of TSW Alloy Wheels, said the location of the facility was a big draw.

“The location in the Lehigh Valley will give us the ability to deliver to a massive amount of customers within 24 hours,” he said.

The site provides easy access to Route 33 and is minutes from the New Jersey border.

TSW’s new distribution warehouse facility sits on 9.6 acres. It features 36-foot clear height, a capacity of up to 26 dock doors, two drive-in doors, motion sensor LED lighting and 4,000 AMP electric.

J.G. Petrucci., of Bethlehem, said Paul Weiss of PF Weiss Realty was the broker involved in the turnkey sale to TSW.
