Graduates of Northampton Community College's (NCC) new Precision Machining program were celebrated by the head of the state Department of Community and Economic Development’s Workforce Initiatives today. 

To bolster job training opportunities, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry released $300,000 in grants to help connect businesses and school districts.

The first change in more than 30 years to Pennsylvania’s Career and Technical Education legislation, aims to make it easier for high school graduates to enter the talent pipeline for skilled trade, manufacturing and industry jobs.
