American employers added 372,000 jobs in June, as the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.6% for the fourth consecutive month, the U.S. government reported Friday. 

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry (L&I) today released its preliminary employment situation report for May 2022.  

 Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate was down one-tenth of a percentage point from March to 4.8 percent in April, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry.
