Kurtz has worked at HMK Insurance for 25 years and is in his fifth year as managing partner.
“I’ve been fortunate to be able to train and mentor a lot of the people that work at HMK, and I enjoy seeing them develop and excel both personally and in their careers,” he said.
Kurtz has a sign with a quote from Gary Player hanging in his office that says, “The harder you work, the luckier you get.”
“You can be anything you want in this life if you are willing to take personal responsibility and work hard,” he said.
Kurtz loves to play horseshoes, quoits and cornhole with family and friends.
