Richardson has served in her post for the past six years. She is the chief executive officer, principal academic leader and primary spokesperson for the campus. She also oversees development and philanthropic efforts, strategic planning, budgeting, and community outreach, and assures the quality of academic programs in teaching, research and service. 

The things she is most proud of: “PSULV entrepreneurship initiatives and our innovation hub: LaunchBox, LaunchBox Ladies, and Ambassadors Circle. Inclusive excellence as our campus approach to diversity, equity and inclusion. PSULV campus expansion that includes the Charles W. Dent STEM wing. PSULV students who balance with great success academics, cocurricular activities including leadership opportunities, and employment. They are so prepared for careers after graduation. 

“I see education as a vehicle for creating unlimited possibilities so I work tirelessly to brighten the pathways to postsecondary opportunities for everyone who wants help. 

“I make time to read for pleasure and keep up with current events; engage in sports/fitness, which include cycling, basketball, racquetball and golf; and nurturing my spiritual well-being. Spending time with family, friends enjoying the art of laughter is most key.”
