Shaughnessy joined Jim Petrucci in 2000, helping him establish the company’s Pennsylvania office in Bethlehem. His primary responsibilities are assisting clients with site evaluation and selection, identifying and securing development incentives and navigating projects through the various municipal and state approval processes.
“I am gratified to have completed many brownfield redevelopment projects with JGPCO, in particular, our partnership project with the Green Knight Economic Development Corp., Northampton County and Waste Management Corp. in remediating 20 acres and constructing a 96,000-square-foot manufacturing plant for Techo-Bloc Corp. in the Slate Belt,” he said
Shaughnessy’s personal mantra is a quote from John Greenleaf Whittier: “For all the sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, ‘It might have been.'”
He exercises at St. Luke’s Fitness & Sports Performance Center – West End. He is an avid golfer. He volunteers with several organizations including the Allentown Commercial and Industrial Development Corporation (ACIDA) and the Lehigh Valley Land Recycling Initiative (LVLRI), which he co-founded in 1998.
