The United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley has announced the businesses and people it is honoring at its Celebration of Caring on April 28.
The event recognizes companies and individuals that it said help build a stronger, healthier Lehigh Valley.
Talen Energy of Allentown will receive the Live United Award.
Alvin H. Butz Inc. of Allentown and B. Braun Medical Inc. of Bethlehem each both receive the Campaign Chairman’s Award.
The Air Products Leonard Pool Impact Award is going to the State Theatre for the Arts of Easton.
The Lehigh Valley Carpenters Union will receive the Labor Achievement Award.
The Community Building Award will go to the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit Business Council.
The Volunteer Leadership Award will go to Veronica Gonzalez and Alyssa J. Nole of Lehigh Valley Health Network.
The WLC Betsy Torrence Philanthropist of the Year will be announced at the celebration.
The Celebration of Caring will be at 5 p.m. April 28 at DeSales University in Center Valley.
