Water tech, modest activewear win Venture Idol 2025

Listen to this articleBen Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania has announced the winners of the Venture Idol event held recently at Ben Franklin TechVentures in Bethlehem.
The Grand Prize of $15,000 went to Moses West of AWG, a company that makes atmospheric water generators.
The Judges’ Choice Award of $2,500 went to Ayana Ife of Ayana Active, a clothing brand that creates activewear that “honors modesty while inspiring strength and confidence.”
The awards were given out after a live pitch competition featuring four Ben Franklin Northeast portfolio companies.
The event attracted 281 attendees, including investors, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community supporters, celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
Innovation awards were also handed out at the event.
The Frederick J. Beste III Partnership Award went to H. Robert “Gus” Gustafson, Jr.
The Manufacturing Achievement Award went to PowerRail.
The R. Chadwick Paul Entrepreneurial Achievement Award went to Game Face Grooming.
