Allentown launches Right-to-Know data hub

Anyone looking for more information about issues with such things as or rental leases in Allentown will now have easier access. 

The City of Allentown is proud to announce the launch of its new Data Hub, designed to give everyone easier access to City records. 

 The offers a centralized platform where users can explore and download frequently requested City records, including City Code Cases, where a person can search any address to see building ; City Building Permits to locate permits issued for a specific property; and City  to verify rental licenses for any address. 

According to a press release, the City’s goal is to continue to engage the public by making data easily accessible, empowering residents to better understand operations, participate in civic life, and foster economic and community development. 

The City has seen steady growth in Right-to-Know requests in recent years with 1,505 requests year, up from 1,361 requests the year prior and 1,265 in 2023. 

 As of Feb. 12, the city said it has already received 242 requests, compared with 143 requests on the same date in 2025, reflecting growing public interest in access to City records.  Residents can access the new Right-to-Know Data Hub and begin exploring records at city-rtk-allentownpa.hub.arcgis.com/
