Day of Caring planned for June 23

Around 700 local employees and 50 area nonprofits will be participating in the 29th annual Lehigh Valley Day of Caring on June 23.
A partnership between the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley and the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, Day of Caring is the community’s largest, single day volunteer effort and the public kick-off of United Way’s 2022 campaign.
Participants from dozens of area businesses will complete more than 50 service projects through Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties.
United Way President David Lewis and 2022 Campaign Co-chair Ashley Russo of ASR Media Productions will join volunteers throughout the region as they paint murals at local Community Schools, stock and organize food pantries and beautify outdoor spaces.
Companies or groups looking to send volunteers to a Day of Caring activity must sign up by June 10.
