Founded in 1929, Deiter Bros. is a family-owned provider of HVAC equipment sales and service, propane, heating oil, diesel and gasoline. Brothers Sam Deiter and Bill “Buss” Deiter partnered with their cousin Herbie to form an ice delivery company serving homes on the southside of Bethlehem, PA. In the 95 years since its founding, the company has evolved as it has served the Lehigh Valley.
Family members continue to fulfill primary leadership roles at Deiter Bros., including James G. Deiter as president and CEO, Jacqueline Deiter as vice president, and Jennifer Deiter-Wisniewski as general manager, along with her husband, Jarrod Wisniewski, who serves as the transportation manager.
“The scope of Deiter Bros. geographic service footprint and product [and] service offerings have expanded greatly through four generations of Deiter family ownership and management, but the commitment to providing reliable, affordable, efficient customer service and products is unchanged,” the company stated.
The company’s long-term goals are to maintain its growth trajectory through prudent fiscal management, development of employees through advanced training, maintain strong communications with customers and community partners, and embrace innovative technologies for greater operational and energy efficiencies.
“We respect the past but do not live in it,” the company stated, noting it embraces the latest in energy-saving advances in heating and cooling equipment.
