Mia Haney has been named interim CEO of the Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA).
The PHA is a statewide membership organization of more than 700 homecare, home health and hospice providers. The organization’s Board of Directors announced Haney’s new role on Wednesday.
“Mia’s proven track record aligns seamlessly with the goals and values of the association,” CJ Rambler, president of the PHA Board of Directors, said in a statement. “We believe that under her guidance, our organization will continue to thrive and uphold its commitment to excellence for our members and the home health care recipients across Pennsylvania.”
An industry veteran with more than 15 years of experience in home health care, Haney has served as Chief Operating Officer of Modivcare, overseeing more than 16,000 caregivers and professionals across seven states offering personal care, private duty nursing and home health services.
Haney is also involved with Medicaid Long-Term Services and Supports serving on the Office of Long Term Living’s Quality Council and participates in local Office of Developmental Programs Quality initiatives.
Haney has also served as a provider of personal care, home health, private duty nursing, and hospice services through CareGivers America. She has also contributed to the association as President of the Board of Directors during the 2019-20 term and held a seat on the association’s Public Policy Committee.
“Having served PHA for numerous years in a variety of exciting roles, I am looking forward to helping guide PHA into its next phase of growth,” said Haney. “I have witnessed what PHA has contributed to the industry over the past few years and know the organization will only become more robust and advantageous for members and home care advocates.
“Our staff, the Board of Directors, and myself are looking forward to strengthening the association’s mission in bringing care home.”
