A new dining concept is now open in Stroudsburg.
Eggs Up Grill, the fastest-growing daytime restaurant franchise in the country, was recently opened by Metz Group, a family-owned hospitality organization with decades of restaurant and foodservice experience.
Metz Group operates such nationally recognized restaurant brands as Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Dunkin’, Chick-fil-A and TGI Fridays.
The company said in a release that it selected Eggs Up Grill as part of its continued strategic expansion into the growing breakfast restaurant industry.
The Stroudsburg restaurant represents the first step in plans for a broader multi-unit growth partnership between Eggs Up Grill and Metz Group as the brand continues expanding throughout Pennsylvania and the Northeast.
“Officially opening our first Eggs Up Grill restaurant and introducing the brand to the Stroudsburg community is an exciting first step for Metz Group,” said Rick Sell, vice president of operations at Metz Group. “From the beginning, we believed Eggs Up Grill offered something unique in the daytime dining space. The welcoming atmosphere and strong franchise support made this the right fit for our organization and for the communities we serve.”
The new restaurant features a neighborhood atmosphere and a full menu of breakfast, brunch and lunch favorites, including omelets, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, bowls and mimosas.
The restaurant is open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Additional locations developed through the partnership are expected to follow as the companies continue identifying opportunities throughout the state.
“Metz Group represents exactly the type of experienced multi-unit partner we want to grow alongside,” said Ricky Richardson, CEO of Eggs Up Grill. “Their hospitality expertise and community-first mindset make them an outstanding operator for Eggs Up Grill, and we are thrilled to see their first location now open in Pennsylvania as we continue building momentum throughout the Northeast.”
