Pocono Medical Center of East Stroudsburg has opened another primary care office, this time in Mountainhome.
PMC held a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration to mark the opening of Physician Associates Primary Care office on Route 390.
Formerly the H.A. Tattersall Medical Center, the renovated, handicapped-accessible building has six exam rooms, a lab room and three offices for physicians, triage and patient consults.
The medical staff of PMC’s new facility provides preventive care, immunizations and management of medical conditions. Also on-site are phlebotomy services for most routine lab orders and electrocardiogram services.
PMC operates on the second floor; dentist Dr. Bernard Hine occupies the first floor.
Pocono Medical Center this year celebrates its 100th anniversary. With more than 230 physicians and more than 2,000 employees, it is one of Monroe County’s oldest and largest employers.
