According to Dams, owning a women-owned business requires empathy, creativity, and integrity. Through her work, she aims to create a studio driven by collaboration, flexibility, humanity, and excellent design.
“I’m proud to create work that amplifies community voices, supports local nonprofits, and shows that women-led creativity is powerful, strategic, and transformative,” Dams said. “As a mother and business owner, balancing workload, financial pressures, and family demands has been ongoing. These challenges ultimately pushed me to become more adaptable, strategic, and confident in the value my studio brings.”
Sarott Design LLC has engaged in major branding and publication projects for nonprofits, community schools, and Lehigh University’s College of Health. Dams intentionally collaborates with female designers, freelancers, and creatives to fulfill her mission of helping organizations communicate clearly, gain visibility, and increase impact. Dams also serves on the Women’s Business Council, supporting leadership, connection, and growth.
“I’ve expanded accessibility-focused design for the disability community and helped local organizations strengthen their visibility and credibility,” Dams said. “I’m also proud of maintaining a thriving women-led studio through industry shifts while producing work that creates real community impact.”
