St. Luke’s opens Health Center in Hellertown

St. Luke’s University Health Network has opened a new in . 

The center opened its doors Aug. 25 giving the community improved access to convenient same-day care, expanded and on-site  

The building is the site of the former Rite Aid at 110 Main Street in Hellertown, that closed last summer.  

St. Luke’s completed the purchase of the property earlier this year and completely renovated the space. 

St. Luke’s Saucon Valley Family Practice relocated to the building from its former location on Front St. and expanded to 16 exam rooms in the new space compared to 11 in its former home. 

“This new facility represents an important step forward in how we serve the Hellertown and Saucon Valley communities,” said , president of St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem. “By building on the trusted care already available here and adding new services, we’re making it easier for patients and families to access the care they need close to home.” 

The 13,000-square-foot building is home to a wide range of new services for the local community including a full array of services, Care Now  for non-emergent illnesses, walk-in X-ray services, walk-in lab services. Additionally, the program will treat workers’ compensation injuries, workplace-acquired illnesses, and perform physical exams and screenings. 

To help introduce St. Luke’s Health Center in Hellertown to the community, St. Luke’s will also be hosting Wellness Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. every Wednesday in September, featuring health screenings, resources, snacks and giveaways.
