Uline looking to hire more than 130 at Allentown warehouse

According to a recent White House Briefing, Allentown is experiencing a solid local economy, with unemployment rates at a 20-year low of 3.9%.
That means companies are working hard to find the best talent, and Uline, a North American distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials is once again holding a major hiring event to tap into the local workforce.
The company is looking to hire more than 130 people for warehousing jobs in their Lehigh Valley operations. That comes after hiring more than 125 new employees last year.
The company said in a release that more staff are needed as the business sustains over a decade of double-digit growth.
Uline will be holding its first hiring events of the year Saturday, Feb. 17, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 3 to 6 p.m. at its warehouse at 700 Uline Way, Allentown.
The comapny is hiring for both day shift and night shift and is offering wages, depending on the position of between $25 and $34 per hour.
