Phoebe Ministries will be opening Chestnut Ridge at Rodale, the long-awaited 60+ wellness-focused community on the former 38-acre Rodale Publishing campus in Emmaus next month.
The property is set to open in February.
Phoebe purchased the property from the Rodale family in 2018.
Chestnut Ridge at Rodale features 126 apartments in two buildings.
The North Building is a three-story structure featuring one- and two-bedroom apartments surrounding a central courtyard.
The first floor of the building will have a casual restaurant with a pub, featuring healthy food options.
Residents will also be able to work out at the on-site fitness center or swim at the indoor pool.
There will also be a marketplace, which will offer a variety of grab-and-go items, eliminating the need for residents to make extra trips to the store.
There will also be a beauty salon and a dedicated dog washing station.
The newly constructed South Building is a four-story horseshoe-shaped building with a grand courtyard and space for residents to entertain their guests. An outdoor amphitheater is built into the land behind the building, at the foot of South Mountain.
All of the apartments feature in-home smart technology. The community will also utilize the K4 Connect application for residents to have at-a-glance access to updates and announcements, dining menus, activities and events, directories, building policies and resources, and request forms for maintenance and housekeeping services.
“We’ve had tremendous support from the surrounding community in developing this lifestyle-focused independent living community,” said Scott Stevenson, president & CEO of Phoebe Ministries. “The Phoebe community couldn’t be more excited to welcome our depositors to their new home here in Emmaus.”
