Easton outdoor ropes course sets grand re-opening

, with the largest outdoor in the Northeast, is holding its April 6 in Easton. 

What it calls “America’s premier ‘eatertainment’” destination, HangDog, with 115 climbing elements, 240-foot zip-lines, a 45-foot-high giant swing, and a free fall jump, said it will feature a live performance by “Life After Dead,” a renowned Grateful Dead tribute band, from 1 to 4 p.m. for the opening. 

HangDog, located at 410 Cedarville Road also offers a lights show, craft beer garden, gourmet food truck, cafe, and live music . 

The venue will be open Fridays from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

From now until April 1, the HangDog VIP Pass, which offers unlimited access to the ropes course, is being offered at a discounted rate. 

This year, HangDog said it will be available for private and outside regular weekend hours.   

There is no entrance fee for visitors looking to enjoy HangDog’s entertainment options, including live music performances, the gourmet food truck or the craft beer garden.  

The 2024 season will run through November, weather permitting, the company said.
