Gas prices continue to drop, but holiday weekend could change that

For the second straight week the average price for a gallon of gas is below $4, and it’s even lower in the . 

in  are actually averaging just above the $4 mark at $4.007. 

That’s still nine cents lower than one week ago. 

According to ‘s Gas Price Report the average price for a gallon of gas in the Lehigh Valley on June 29 was $3.713. That’s down from $3.786 the week prior, but significantly higher than it was one year ago when the average price was $3.272. 

This week’s  is six cents less than last week at $3.86 per gallon.

Today’s national average is 53 cents less than a month ago, but 58 cents more than a year ago.
