a full-service Holiday Inn.

The renovations included adding a full-service 900 square foot kitchen, said William Kraft, president of K-Bridge Development Corp. of Nazareth. The existing pantry added a couple hundred extra square feet, he said.

Other additions included a bar, new public areas, and an expanded fitness center, he said.

The firm altered and renovated the entire lobby and dining areas, and installed all new millwork and a custom bar.

The firm renovated all 106 guestrooms and bathrooms of the 68,000 square-foot-hotel and built two new guest rooms on the first floor by converting a meeting room. The firm also converted 81 tubs to showers with sliding glass doors.

“The lobby was completely gutted, we rebuilt the ceilings, re-did the business center and pool area,” Kraft said.

Workers also added new tile to the pool and took out the spa to expand the fitness center.

The firm installed new corridor finishes and LED-lighting, and put in new carpeting, furniture and TVs into the guest rooms.

In addition, the firm repainted the entire building and rebranded it as a Holiday Inn on the exterior.

Kraft said the total general contracting cost for the project was about $2.1 million and his firm has completed similar hotel renovations around the country.

“It’s exciting to see them done, this was a whole new concept, so that was fun,” Kraft said.
