PA Chamber elects new chair, board members

The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry’s Board of Directors has elected to a two-year term as its new chairman. Scaer is a member of the board of directors and former chairman and CEO of GFT, a global infrastructure and engineering firm.  

He previously served as the PA Chamber Board of Directors’ first vice chair and succeeds Manuel Mar, senior vice president of , whose term expired.  

 “We are excited for Bob to ascend to the chairman’s role to build on the incredible progress we’ve made advancing policies that foster growth, innovation, and opportunity for Pennsylvania businesses,” said PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein. “We also want to thank Manny as his tenure as chair included historic pro-business wins that strengthened both the PA Chamber and the commonwealth, and we are grateful for his commitment and leadership.” 

 At the same meeting, , president of , was elected to serve as the board of directors’ first vice chair. 

 The following individuals were newly elected to serve on the PA Chamber Board:
