Sheetz raises pay by $2/hour for all store employees

Sheetz, the Altoona-based restaurant and convenience chain announced a $2/hour for all of its 18,000 store employees which will go into effect on May 21, 2021.

, which has close to 300 stores in Pennsylvania, and over 600 stores in total throughout the mid-Atlantic region, reports that the permanent increase equates to a $50 million annual investment.

In addition, Sheetz also announced an additional $1/hour wage increase from May 21, 2021 until September 23, 2021 for all store employees, a $12 million investment, according to Sheetz.
