Utz Brands Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, Thomas Lawrence, is set to retire from the company next month, according to a statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission by the Hanover-based snack foods company.
Utz Brands first announced Lawrence’s retirement in its 2022 annual meeting of stockholders of Utz Brands and again in an 8-K form filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company also announced that Shane Chambers, vice president and chief growth officer at Utz Brands, would also be resigning from his role in April.
Lawrence has served as executive vice president and chief supply chain officer since Jan. 2015 and has been a member of Utz’s Board of Managers since June 2014.
He has held a number of positions since joining the company in 2004, including roles in manufacturing and strategic planning. Prior to joining Utz, Lawrence served as director of operations for Glatfelter from 1993 to 2004.
Chambers joined Utz Brands in 2021 in a new position created for him. Chambers was previously CEO of Carrolton, Texas-based Truco Enterprises, the manufacturer of ON THE BORDER chips and dips.
Utz acquired the company in late December and hired Chambers in his current role.
