Becky Bradley is executive director of the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, a role she has held for the past 21 years, since 2014. In her role, Bradley has managed the transportation planning and investment portfolio of over $4.2 billion for the Lehigh Valley. She oversees the bi-county planning responsibilities for Lehigh and Northampton Counties. The LVPC coordinates all 62 municipal governments and partners with sewer and water authorities, school districts, state, federal, private sector and non-profit partners to ensure that the region collaborates on compound-complex issues that make the Lehigh Valley successful.
Bradley said several projects and achievements stand out in 2024.
“First, the adoption of a 2025-2028 Transportation Improvement Program, that directly invests over $633 million to maintain and enhance the transportation system in Lehigh and Northampton counties,” she said.
The program was preceded by over $97 million of completed infrastructure projects in 2024 and another $129 million in construction projects.
“Planning efforts on freight, rail and air quality support the investment portfolio that will be realized in future years,” Bradley said.
