Easton Market named best in nation by USA Today

As the Hotel Bethlehem seeks out being named the best historic hotel in the country, The Easton Public Market has made a USA Today list for the first time.
Thanks to the voting of supporters, the Northampton Street market has been named the number one Best Public Market in USA Today’s Readers’ Choice awards.
Calling it “an incredible distinction that highlights the commitment to providing the highest-quality local food, drink, music and hands-on experiences,” Market organizers are throwing a party to celebrate the honor.
Friday, July 28 there will be a Party in the Plaza behind the market in conjunction with Fourth Fridays.
While details of the celebration are still being worked out. Market organizers said in an email to supporters that it was important to thank all those that voted for the market.
“While we could not be more excited about this newly nabbed distinction, there’s a microscopic chance we would have pulled it off without all of the dedicated voters of Easton and beyond. Support from the community is the best hype.” the email read.
The Easton Public Market is a project of the Greater Easton Development Partnership.
