Bethlehem-based Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley has held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its newest location at 2022 W. Liberty St. in Allentown.
This is the bank’s tenth location and is its first full-service “micro-branch,” which the bank described as a “cozy” 703 square feet that allows customers to open accounts without even leaving their car.
It explained that customers can pull into one of the three drive-up lanes and handle their basic banking transactions or open an account.
The drive-up lanes are all equipped with two-way cameras and video screens, which are designed to create a more personalized experience, as well as offer a more efficient banking opportunity for customers.
The first drive up-lane houses the night drop lockbox and a drive-up ATM.
For customers that prefer to walk into the branch, there are two personal bankers available to assist them. All personal banker stations are equipped with teller cash recyclers geared to make transaction processing quick and efficient.
