There’s new local leadership at PNC Bank.
The bank announced Tuesday that Annmarie E. Andrejko, senior vice president and senior relationship manager, has been named regional president for Northeast Pa. and head of Corporate Banking for the region. She will succeed Peter J. Danchak, PNC’s longest-serving regional president, who will retire from both of those roles July 25.
Danchak retires following a more than 40-year career in banking, including 26 years as regional president.

During his tenure with PNC, Danchak was instrumental in leading PNC’s local team as it grew market share across every line of business. He also played a key role in establishing client relationships with nationally branded businesses in the market, as well as helping embed the bank’s philanthropic and strategic community investments across NEPA.
Danchak also has served as a board member of organizations across the Lehigh Valley and NEPA. Danchak is also a past co-chair of the Pennsylvania Early Learning Commission and more recently joined the board of Highmark Health.
In the coming weeks, Danchak will transition his responsibilities to Andrejko, who brings nearly 31 years of PNC experience and market knowledge to the role. Andrejko joined PNC in 1995 as a financial analyst and quickly took on a series of increased responsibilities within the NEPA Corporate Banking team. In 2013, she assumed her most recent responsibilities as a senior vice president and senior relationship manager and led PNC’s local relationships with middle market and large corporate banking clients.
Active within the community throughout her career, Andrejko currently serves as vice chair of the Board of the Family Service Association of Northeast Pennsylvania, where she contributes to organizational strategy and financial oversight. She is also a member of the Board of Directors and the Finance committee for Step By Step.
