Jacob Sitman is an attorney, shareholder and chair of the employment law and labor relations team at Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C. in Allentown; a role he has held for the past 12 years.
“As a trusted advisor to public and private companies and non-profits in complex labor and employment issues, I design strategies that mitigate liability risk, safeguard business interests, support corporate transactions, provide day-to-day counseling, handle crisis management and draft polices and employment contracts of all kinds,” he said.
Sitman said balancing growth and the increasing demand for legal services while maintaining a commitment to deliver “the highest quality legal services” is among the firm’s recent challenges.
“We have met this challenge by careful hiring of qualified professionals and then treating them as our most valuable resources. More broadly, in the future, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in our legal work may [become] one of the biggest challenges,” he said.
While winning cases for clients is rewarding to Sitman, he said among the most rewarding aspects of his job are learning about clients businesses, objectives and pain points.
