As president and CEO, Kevin Schmidt is responsible for the day to day operations of the bank as well as the implementation of strategic initiatives. He’s served in his current position for 15 years. “As a prior chairman mentioned, we have to answer to the three publics: the directors/management/employees; shareholders and our customers/community. You must be cognizant as to how your decision affects each one,” he said.
2023 marked the bank’s 100th anniversary. “We were proud and excited to celebrate The Neffs National Bank’s 100th anniversary. The year was full of special promotions and events. Among the special events, our community festival provided the perfect opportunity to thank the community for their continued support and contribution to the bank’s success. While 2023 was very challenging in the face of increased interest rates and decreased margins, we remained fiscally responsible and financially strong,” Schmidt said.
