Lehigh Valley health systems spared from CrowdStrike outage

The that has been affecting many systems has not hindered those in Lehigh Valley. 

said it has not experienced any issues related to the recent CrowdStrike and Microsoft outages.  

“Our operations remain unaffected, and we continue to welcome patients and maintain all scheduled appointments as planned. We are dedicated to meeting all patient needs today and in the future,” a Tower Health spokesperson said in an email. 

A spokesperson for said the outage that is affecting health systems around the world is not affecting patient care at Lehigh Valley Health Network. 

“The outage briefly impacted HNL Lab Medicine systems. Patient care was never affected. All HNL Lab Medicine systems are now fully operational,” the spokesperson said. 

HNL Lab Medicine is currently examining all its workstations as an added safeguard. 

St. Luke’s University Health Network did not respond to a request for information.
