Lehigh Valley International Airport passenger traffic dips in March

Lehigh Valley International Airport saw a slight decline in in March. 

Last month, 94,053 passengers used , which is a 1.26% decrease from March 2025. 

Still, airport officials are looking forward to an uptick in spring travel. 

 “There are energy and excitement when the calendar flips to more favorable weather conditions for both air travelers and airport employees. People are thinking about summer vacations, and we’re preparing at ABE for our busiest months ahead,” said , executive director of the  (LNAA).  

Of the airlines flying out of ABE,  passenger traffic increased 3%, while and remained flat. United dropped by 17.5%. 

There is new service on the way. As announced earlier this year, ABE will offer more connectivity to Chicago, when increases service to  by adding a fourth daily flight on May 1. 

American Airlines launches nonstop flights to O’Hare International Airport on June 4.   

 Meanwhile, 27,276,021 pounds of was processed through Lehigh Valley International Airport in March, which is a decrease of 3.8% from March 2025.
