Michael Hawkins is founder and CEO of Allentown-based Netizen Corp., a role he has held at the cyber security and related technology solutions firm for the past 12 years.
Hawkins oversees all operations of the fast-growing cyber security company, which includes the U.S. Department of Defense, numerous federal, state and local government agencies; commercial enterprise customers across various industries and global clients.
Hawkins is responsible for the sales, marketing, finances and strategic operations of Netizen, with employees in six states and active customers, operations and additional projects across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America.
“Achieving nearly 40% year-over-year revenue growth while substantially streamlining operations through automation and the hiring and promotion of highly adept, capable individuals that have gone through a new rigorous internal training and development program” are among 2024’s significant achievements, Hawkins said.
The company launched Netizen Academy, a formalized internship, training and mentorship program which supports the development of people from a range of backgrounds seeking careers or advancement in cyber security and related fields, Hawkins said.
