President and CEO
Members 1st Federal Credit Union
As president and CEO, Wilson oversees all activities of Members 1st, maintaining profitability and stability for the entire organization. He works closely with the leadership team to ensure that current operations and upcoming initiatives keep the credit union on track for a sustainable future. He is also responsible for facilitating corporate communications and providing enterprise-wide briefings on events and organizational changes to keep associates informed.
He has served as president and CEO for one year.
He said the credit union has grown rapidly and served its members incredibly well for nearly 75 years. “However, significant milestones ahead for us will change several things for which we need to be prepared. Rather than wait until those milestones occur, we went through a significant leadership team reorganization that focuses on specialization and narrowed responsibilities that will prepare us today for the challenges we will face, significantly easing our transition as we cross each milestone,” Wilson said.
“Rallying together and supporting our members and each other during a period of significant change in leadership and strategy has been very exciting to watch. We embrace our ‘Culture of WE’ and encourage our associates to share their thoughts, feedback and ideas so that we can constantly focus on making our organization better for our members and for each other,” he said.
