In her role as one of three principals at Spillman Farmer Architects, Christa Duelberg-Kraftician is the direct client contact for multiple projects and oversees project teams of two to 15 employees and consultants.
“My responsibilities are to ensure project team members collaborate with each other and project schedules, budgets, and quality surpass expectations,” she said. “In addition, I work closely with our marketing team to develop new strategies and goals and our office manager on the daily operations.”
Duelberg-Kraftician sees staffing as one of the biggest hurdles currently for every industry.
“We have been fortunate to maintain most of our experienced staff while also hiring young and enthusiastic employees,” she said. “While most of the supply chain challenges have been solved, we still find some products with long lead times. Our team is accustomed to these challenges and discusses any foreseeable problems with the client early on to provide options.”
