Gerlach took on the role of president and CEO in March 2020.
Before that he was the president and CEO of the Business-Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC) in Washington, D.C., a nonprofit corporation helping companies and trade associations communicate with employees on a nonpartisan basis about policy issues and candidates for public office. He spent 12 years as a congressman serving Pennsylvania’s sixth district, which includes parts of Berks County.
He is a native of Ellwood City in Lawrence County.
