KCBA Architects, a leading architectural planning and design firm in Pennsylvania, specializes in educational, governmental, institutional, worship, and senior living projects. Since joining KCBA in 2006, Kelly has played a central role in shaping many of the firm’s high-profile projects. He maintains a robust project portfolio with a special focus on strategic facility analysis and planning, spatial programming, and design development and implementation. He is very active with professional and community planning and advocacy groups.
He serves as the architect representative on the Pennsylvania School Safety and Security Committee, is a member of the AIA Pennsylvania Subcommittee for Education, and is an elected member of Borough Council in Chalfont, Bucks County. He also is a frequent speaker and author on issues related to educational facility design and campus security strategies. Kelly is a Registered Architect, LEED Accredited Professional, and Accredited Learning Environment Planner.
He said this past year continued to challenge the firm’s architectural team to create high quality, safe, and durable designs within a raising construction cost market. “With a constant eye on project budgets and a devotion to our education and municipal clients, we worked hard to achieve their priorities while continuing to be fiscally responsible. This effort takes dedication and a commitment to collaborate closely to ensure that every dollar spent is aligned with our partners’ objectives and long-term vision,” Kelly said.
