Bob Begliomini is senior vice president of operations for LVHN, and president of Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Cedar Crest, and president of the Lehigh Region. He is responsible for the executive leadership of the LVH–Cedar Crest campus, as well as LVH–17th Street and LVH–Tilghman. As senior vice president of LVHN Operations, he has executive leadership of pharmacy services, security services, EMS/MedEvac, emergency preparedness and communications.
He’s been in his current position for five years.
He characterizes his leadership style as one that centers around the creation of a culture that supports teamwork. “Health care is a team sport that requires each member of our team, no matter what role they work in, to be supportive of each other and our ultimate goal to provide the very best care possible. Our teams meet and communicate daily to assure everything we do is centered on excellence in patient care, quality, and experience,” Begliomini said.
He said the community was significantly challenged throughout the Covid pandemic. In May, he was honored to be awarded the Frank A Marcon Award from the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce. “My goal was to keep the chamber well informed, alleviate fears and assist with education and access,” Begliomini said, “I have been fortunate to be able to serve on a number of community boards in the Lehigh Valley and do whatever possible to support the needs of our incredible region.”
